Alt A P N H on Mac: From HTML in Excel
To run From HTML with Alt A P N H in Excel on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type A, P, N, H. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.
Step by step
Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Click a cell, or select the range the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type A P N H
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then A for Data, P N for Get Data, H for From HTML.
What Alt A P N H does
From HTML sits under Data › Get Data on the Excel ribbon. On Windows, Alt A P N H runs it from the keyboard. Excel for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Data › Get Data › From HTML instead.
