Alt H H M on Mac: More Colors in Excel
To run More Colors with Alt H H M in Excel on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type H, H, M. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Click a cell, or select the range the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type H H M
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then H for Home, H for Fill Color, M for More Colors.
What Alt H H M does
More Colors sits under Home › Fill Color on the Excel ribbon. On Windows, Alt H H M runs it from the keyboard. Excel for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Home › Fill Color › More Colors instead.
