Alt H L T P on Mac: Top 10 % in Excel
To run Top 10 % with Alt H L T P in Excel on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type H, L, T, P. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Click a cell, or select the range the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type H L T P
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then H for Home, L for Conditional Formatting, T for Top/Bottom Rules, P for Top 10 %.
What Alt H L T P does
Top 10 % sits under Home › Conditional Formatting › Top/Bottom Rules on the Excel ribbon. On Windows, Alt H L T P runs it from the keyboard. Excel for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Home › Conditional Formatting › Top/Bottom Rules › Top 10 % instead.
