Alt P I on Mac: Print Titles in Excel
To run Print Titles with Alt P I in Excel on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type P, I. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.
Step by step
Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Click a cell, or select the range the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type P I
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then P for Page Layout, I for Print Titles.
What Alt P I does
Print Titles sits on the Page Layout tab of the Excel ribbon. On Windows, Alt P I runs it from the keyboard. Excel for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Page Layout › Print Titles instead.
