Alt P T F on Mac: Fonts in Excel
To run Fonts with Alt P T F in Excel on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type P, T, F. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.
Step by step
Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Click a cell, or select the range the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type P T F
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then P for Page Layout, T F for Fonts.
What Alt P T F does
Fonts sits on the Page Layout tab of the Excel ribbon. On Windows, Alt P T F runs it from the keyboard. Excel for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Page Layout › Fonts instead.
