Alt X O C H on Mac: AutoColor Sheet in Excel
To run AutoColor Sheet with Alt X O C H in Excel on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type X, O, C, H. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Click a cell, or select the range the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type X O C H
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then X for LightningXL, O for Format, C for Color, H for AutoColor Sheet.
What Alt X O C H does
AutoColor Sheet sits under LightningXL › Format › Color on the Excel ribbon. On Windows, Alt X O C H runs it from the keyboard. Excel for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through LightningXL › Format › Color › AutoColor Sheet instead.
