Alt S U on Mac: Use Timings in PowerPoint
To run Use Timings with Alt S U in PowerPoint on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type S, U. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.
Step by step
Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Select the slide, text or object the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type S U
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then S for Slide Show, U for Use Timings.
What Alt S U does
Use Timings sits on the Slide Show tab of the PowerPoint ribbon. On Windows, Alt S U runs it from the keyboard. PowerPoint for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Slide Show › Use Timings instead.
