Alt N S C on Mac: Screenshot menu in Word
To open the Screenshot menu with Alt N S C in Word on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type N, S, C. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.
Step by step
Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Put the cursor where you want it, or select the text or object.
Tap Option, then type N S C
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then N for Insert, S C for Screenshot. That opens the Screenshot menu; the next key tips show the items in it.
What Alt N S C does
Alt N S C opens the Screenshot menu on the Insert tab of Word. Type one more key to pick an item:
